Tracy Lutheran Church supports the food shelf. Once a month the loose offering is donated to the Tracy Kitchen Table Food Shelf.
Tracy Lutheran Church supports camp ministry by offering scholarships to campers to help pay for their camp. We also give monitarily to Shetek Lutheran Bible Camp yearly. We LOVE to get to camp as a church or youth group whenever we can!
Our congregation helps deliver meals, through meals on wheels. Tracy Lutheran has a befriender's program that helps by visiting our homebound and hospitalized. Our members deliver communion monthly and weekly bulletins to our homebound. Tracy Lutheran ladies meet weekly to construct quilts, school kits, layette kits, and health kits for those in need. There is a wide variety of Christian education opportunities available for all ages and appeal to encourage our growth in Jesus Christ.
Our youth attends the SWMN ELCA Junior High Youth Gathering in Willmar each fall, and the SWMN ELCA Senior High Gathering in Mankato. The youth have attended and will continue to attend the ELCA National Youth gatherings. They participate in a variety of mission projects during these events. Please call the church office to find out the dates of the next event.
We enjoy and are always willing to help out in the community as needs arise. One project we have that is ongoing during the fall and winter is a coat collection that goes directly to our local schools for distribution. Another project we greatly enjoy in which we again do with the local school district is an angel tree which spreads Christmas cheer for our local kids in need.
Stuck in the snow... can't make it to church? TUNE IN TO 1400 AM KMHL every Sunday! Tracy Lutheran broadcasts our Sunday morning worship service live on the local radio station.
